I just wanted to thank you for "fixing" my
post LASIK Surgery vision impairments.
I had LASIK surgery approximately five years ago but
found that I needed glasses for some activities such
as driving and playing golf. My real problems started
when I decided that I needed contact lenses to play
golf in. The first Optometrist I went to prescribed
disposable soft contact lenses. After purchasing $200
of these lenses, however, I found that my vision was
unstable and inconsistent.
I was very fortunate that by chance I came to you. I
had no idea that post LASIK vision correction was so
complicated and clearly your experience with LASIK surgery
was needed in order to clearly explain to me my options
and to help me to find the best contact lens solution.
My custom made gas permeable lenses work great. I am
getting better than 20/20 vision and my golf and other
outdoor activities are more enjoyable without glasses.
I am also glad that I now fully understand the issues
around my post LASIK surgery vision correction for the
future.

"Hi Matthew,
I just wanted to thank you for solving the problem with
my prescription.
Just to remind you, I came to see you before Christmas
having problems with my "new" glasses. My
ex-optometrist prescribed and made them up for me in
September, and after months of tripping up stairs, bumping
into furniture, and eye strain headaches I had given
up wearing them and retreated to an old pair. I had
also consulted 2 other optometrists about the problem,
each told me that the prescription was the same as my
old one - inferring that the problem must be in my mind.
Firstly I'd like to tell you how much I appreciate your
belief in my experience. Having had 3 other professionals
tell me I was imagining things I was beginning to think
I was crazy! Secondly, I found your methodical approach
to problem solving impressive. None of the other people
I consulted even suggested a repeat eye-test, and didn't
even seem to consider that the aspheric lenses might
be a possible cause of my difficulties.
I have now enjoyed 5 blissful days of glasses comfort
- not a single furniture bruise! I'll be in next month
to get some new sunglasses as well.

(the lovely man with the glasses whose name I neglected
